I’m absolutely delighted that Oldham has been awarded Greater Manchester Town of Culture 2026–2027. It’s a huge moment for our town — a celebration of everything that makes Oldham special: our creativity, our resilience, our community spirit, and the incredible talent we have here.
And I’m even prouder that our 4‑Day Wedding Floral Workshop, running 8–11 June 2026, will be part of this cultural year. Bringing world‑class floral designers to the Oldham countryside feels like the perfect way to celebrate what this award stands for.

We’re welcoming florists, flower arrangers, hobbyists, and flower lovers from across the UK and overseas. No experience needed — just a love of flowers and a willingness to learn.
Rise
For four days, our countryside venue becomes a creative hub filled with colour, inspiration, and hands‑on learning. It’s a chance to work closely with three of Europe’s most respected floral designers.
Soar
We finish with a magical Floral Showcase Evening, open to the public — a moment for Oldham to shine.

This is one of my favourite parts of the whole week. We open our doors to the public so everyone can walk through the breathtaking floral installations created during the workshop.
